Deep Tissue Laser Therapy - DTLT

The main focus of Deep Tissue Laser Therapy – DTLT and Spinal Decompression Therapy – SDT is to restore function by promoting quick healing using this non-invasive, drug free method of treatment.

  • DTLT is painless, you may feel a mild therapeutic type of heat during treatment.
  • SDT treatment is pain free too.
  • Both DTLT and SDT treatment allow tissue and muscle pain to accelerate natural healing time.

What is Deep Tissue Laser Therapy – DTLT ?

DTLT energises the cells of the area being treated, increasing the Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) production in the area that the cells need for metabolic activity. Circulation is also increased allowing the blood to transport needed nutrients and immune response cells to promote healing to injured or inflamed tissues. Increased circulation stimulates the body’s natural immune response.

Unlike pharmaceutical medications and drugs, there are no undesirable side effects. Pregnancy and cancer are the only conditions that cannot be treated by DTLT. After DTLT most patients report long-lasting relief from pain after just a few treatments. It is interesting to note that when damaged tissue is exposed to high levels of laser energy it absorbs that healing energy more effectively than healthy tissue.

Spinal Decompression Therapy - SDT

active AGAIN uses the Triton Spinal Decompression Table to treat sufferers with back and neck pain. This highly developed product effectively treats pain from Herniated Discs, Bulging Discs, Degenerative Discs, Spinal Stenosis, Pinched Nerve, Sciatica (leg pain) and post-surgical pain.

SDT treatment targets the root cause of pain by:

  • Reducing spinal disc pressure
  • Relieving nerve root compression
  • Improving blood flow
  • Relaxing muscles
  • The clinician fits a harness around the lower back, the chest restraints and rigid armpit supports stop any movement down the table.
  • You remain fully clothed during SDT.
  • Patients lay horizontally face down or face up on the computer-controlled table.
  • Clinician operates the computer controls to customise treatment to patient specific needs.
  • If any discomfort is felt during the treatment session, the patient has a hand held Safety Switch to stop treatment at any time.
